DP-FOI-TECH

The role of Information Technology is of paramount importance in order to improve compliance and minimise the consequences of both legal frameworks. Interest in the technological implications of Data Protection and Freedom of Information compliance is beginning to gain momentum. It is accepted that there is great potential to harness the technology effectively to provide real benefits in the way organisations deal with the information management challenges posed by the new legislation. This will be the first email list dedicated exclusively to technological issues regarding Data Protection and Freedom of Information compliance. The existing lists do not deal with such issues.
